Biography
Born in Memphis, Tennessee, Johnathan spent most of his life in rural Mississippi. He became a Northwest Arkansas transplant after attending and graduating from the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Psychology in 2011. He went on to graduate from the University of Arkansas School of Law in 2015 with a cum laude distinction. After passing the bar later the same year, he immediately went to work for the Benton County Public Defender's Office representation clients charged with misdemeanors. Less than a year later, he moved up to felonies and went on to handle cases ranging from Possession of a Controlled Substance to Attempted Murder. Before coming to Catterlin & Arnold, Johnathan spent the last few years representing the Arkansas Department of Human Services in their court involved foster care cases. It was during his tenure that he learned the ins and outs of DHS policy and family law.
When Johnathan isn't fighting the law on behalf of his clients, his time is spent with his wife, two children, and three dogs. He enjoys cooking meals with his kids and smoking meat with his brother. When leisure is at hand, he loves binge-watching the lastest big show with his wife or listening to science fiction/fantasy audiobooks.
After representing DHS for just over two years, Johnathan is thrilled to be offering representation to individuals who need someone on their side.
